3 Ways to Celebrate Singles Awareness Day

Celebrate Singles Awareness Day with CoolStream Duo, Speaker or Headphones.

So you have to imagine for all of those people in love, ready to celebrate by rushing to buy flowers, candy, CoolStream Bluetooth Portable Speakers, for their Valentine, there are no doubt just as many singles not-quite-ready-to-mingle looking for a way to pass Valentine’s Day with their heart intact and a smile on their faces.

If this better describes you, then rejoice; there is the sweet “revenge holiday” known to the thwarted, as Singles Awareness Day.  For the guys, this just means you saved a bundle on roses and you should get yourself new little toy, a gadget, a little something that says, “I really wanted one of these”, like a CoolStream Duo or a set of Bluetooth Headphones as a way to celebrate.

And for the girls, well, this is where you get together with your girlfriends and say things like, “he’s a jerk, and you could do better”, or “I’m going to focus on me for a little while”.  But as with any gathering there has to be music and here are my personal “un-love song” favorites.  By far the best ever is “If I Loved You” by Delta Rae (by the way, Lindsey Buckingham is on guitar), but a close second is our very own American Idol, Kelly Clarkson with “Since You’ve Been Gone”.  There will of course be ups and downs to the night, so for the recent break-up people we have One World’s, “Say Something” with Christina Aguilera, which is sure to make even the blackest of hearts beat.  But no Singles Awareness Day Party would be complete without winding up the night on a rousing group rendition of “Wedding Bell Blues” by the 5th Dimension to make you smile while you celebrate. Really, try it.

I can't seem to recall a time when there wasn't always music playing in my home. Starting with classical piano lessons from the age of 9 while my Dad blasted Johnny Cash, to my many years enjoying the local Boston music scene I have come to the conclusion that putting more music in your life is always a good thing.
